One great thing about my career is that I get to talk to a lot of different people. One of those people is Sandy Pembroke. I met Sandy at the gym and he was pretty hard to miss.
Over time, Sandy and I have become friends and he let me sit down with him on camera to talk about his background as a Professional Fighter -- Professor and a Business Owner -- and his secrets to success in all of them
This video is really worth watching, especially because Sandy is such a fun guy to listen to. His history is diverse and powerful. He gave up some lucrative opportunities in order to pursue his dream as a business owner.
He found success as a World Titlist KickBoxer. Beyond his history as a fighter, Sandy has also spent time as a University professor before turning his focus to business.

The interview is laid back, with plenty of banter between good friends. Our conversation covers a lot of different things, from Sandy’s time in the ring to the way he approaches all things in his life.
Sandy’s storytelling is compelling and personal, and his insights are helpful no matter what your goals are in life. With advice about the value of healthy living and the importance of never giving up, there’s a lot to learn from Sandy.
So, take time to watch it, and be entertained and inspired today.
Do take the time to share your takeaway and more so any insights you can share with other readers that will help them in the pursuit of their dreams.
Thanks for sharing

Great interview Fred & Sandy.
I agree – interesting to know what makes some stick it out yet others seem to give up easily.
Whenever I’ve chosen to give up, I’ve ended up regretting it – but failure.. at least I’ve experienced and learned something along the way
Like you said about your niece and nephew – I hope I instill that same character in my kids.
Thanks!
I did not know you were a fighter? What is this all about? you should not be hitting people Fred!!
I have heard of this guy! Do you know everybody? good interview.
Always something new with you Fred, that is an interesting conversation.
Thanks
A professor boxer is really breaking stereotypes eh good info
Hi Fred.
Of all your great stuff this is by far the part I have related most to myself.
I believe I will come back to this video when I need to remind myself of how to get things done.
All the best
Mads, Iceland
thanks Mads,
Interesting you say that – curious to ask you what part resonated the most with you?
thanks
There are two points in this I like to remind myself.
1. Deal with the beatings you get in life/a fight/business
2. Stop talking and studying – start DOING ( been there done that and always have to remind myself to keep doing)

Love it – just start doing. Move forward and refine along the way.

Dear Fred:
This interaction was encapsulated with some nuggets of wisdom.
I whole heartedly agree with you on the following:
1. Winners don’t quit because Quitters won’t win.
2. Stuff happens but don’t let it stuff you.
3. Paralysis by Analysis could at times be counter intuitive and counter productive.
Having said that,
I want to share the following from my book
BREAD FOR THE HEAD.

Belongs to the ocean of prosperity.”

Meher, glad you enjoyed the video again.
Love the summary of the 3 points. I should type out a summary on the videos. Thanks for the idea
You always have great insight.
Hi All,
Cool Video.
I might pass it on to a couple of friends in the physical education department.
